Sunday 8:30 Eucharist

We gather as a community on Sunday to worship God and celebrate the Eucharist. Our service and congregation are child friendly Our area is a popular tourist destination therefore we welcome visitors and invite all baptized persons to receive communion. 

Parish Vision Statement

Here in the Parish of Boyne River we strive to faithfully follow the example of Jesus Christ and his disciples, to build a welcoming and vibrant church ministry for our local community and the wider Parish.
Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit we endeavour to love God, love others and make new disciples while providing charity, outreach, fellowship and sanctuary to all in need.

 Worship through Live Music, we have a dedicated and talented music group, prayer and bringing the Bible alive, while  undertaking the important quest for family and inter-generational worship!

We explore Scripture together, learning and growing through the Bible. Chapter by chapter, verse by verse, we approach the Bible as God's Truth, to be studied and appreciated.

Messy Church

Normal Sunday service a bit daunting, don't stress,just bring the  kids to Messy Church, and join them in the fun!

With a focus on family, Messy Church includes hands-on creative experiences, a celebration and a meal.

When is it?

We're really excited to be able to share in the fun of Messy Church which is usually held on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Activities begin at 4 pm!

Where is it?

St Mark's Anglican Church,                                Cnr. Malpas St & Sayer Cres, Boyne Island.

What do I need?

A gold coin donation is appreciated, towards the cost of the messy materials, and make sure you aren't wearing your best clothes.

Bargain Shop

Come in and explore an array of recycled children’s and adult fashion pieces, work clothes, toys, books and even some vintage and modern-day bric-a-brac.    St Mark’s Bargain Shop is an important outreach Centre within our Church. Your purchases will help enable us to continue to meet and engage with people, as well as providing means to support local chaplaincy and overseas foster programs and aid.   

    It is only through the support of our amazing volunteers, that it is possible to operate this important missionary enterprise.
